John Peeters has a long history of working in the environment sector locally and across the state of Queensland. He is a tropical fresh water fish specialist and is well known for his work in this field whilst employed by the Qld Dept of Primary Industries. Formerly with the Environmental Protection Agency and Ergon Energy Corp, John has also worked extensively in the environmental management field for the electricity industry.

He brings a wealth of corporate knowledge and experience relating to Queensland’s electricity assets, and issues relating to their environmental impact and management. John also has a comprehensive understanding of environmental planning processes and works hard to build Biotropica’s long term working relationships with major regulatory authorities.

John’s principal role is to manage Biotropica’s strategic planning and review work for the energy sector. However he also oversees Biotropica’s management and QA systems, and works in the Company’s training and compliance services.
