Biotropica Australia director Nigel Tucker and CDM Smith Australian director Mark Breitfuss recently committed their respective organisations to  a tropical teaming arrangement, with their signing of a formal partnership agreement. The agreement will allow both organisations to offer a highly specialised and experienced team of professionals with tropical ecosystem expertise. Together, CDM Smith and Biotropica Australia can now provide a comprehensive package of environmental and engineering services to clients in tropical northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Asia Pacific.

As partners, CDM Smith and Biotropica Australia have environmental and engineering capabilities across a wide range of technical disciplines, which, combined with our project management and planning experience, allow us to provide a variety of tailored and coordinated whole of project services from the project inception phase, investigations, approvals, through to construction, operation and handover.

With Biotropica Australia’s specialist tropical knowledge, and CDM Smith’s global stability and expertise, the two organisations are able to boast an unparalleled ability to deliver integrated environmental and engineering solutions across the tropics.  The two companies have already successfully undertaken joint projects that are both large and complex, and personnel from both organisations have quickly developed a demonstrated  record in timely and rigorous project outcomes.
